Today is the 1st day, after an extended period of School Hols, from Nov to Dec '07... after 2 months & 6 days of rest, im finally ready to go back to school - NIE. People think i'm crazy.. hee. That i'm actually excited to be going back for classes. I can't believe that i'm that thrilled too!
If someone were to ask me why i am so thrilled to be going BTS, i wouldn't know how to quite put my finger on it.. except to say that, i do look foward to seeing God move. Not that He is not doing anything while i was on a school break, but when i'm positioned in the marketplace where God has placed me to be in, there are more opportunities for me to be an effective marketplace minister. i.e to be used by God to be a blessing to others aound me.
I'm excited because a New Year, means more opportunities for experiencing new growth.
I think i do appreciate the fact that in trying times, i learn to be dependent on God more than ever before. And especially in this year of Sabbath (for my church - FCBC and myself), i know that it will be a period of growth for me, that if I learn to Keep my Feet from Breaking the Sabbath, and learn to Rest In Him, i will not only prosper, but will learn something about my Lord.
My prayer for this year, is that i will be obedient. That i will not continue to do the things i desire, but to do whatever the Lord has called me to accomplish for Him. So that i will be found to be Faithful, as He has been to me. To have Eyes that See, Ears that will Hear... Lest my heart becomes numb & hardened.
Purify my love for you O Lord.
