Hello!! I'm back :) Haha... It's the school hols now, been 3 weeks into it and finally got the time to think of doing something for myself. In 2 days times, its my birthday... i'm turning 25! Golly... how the year flew by in the blink of an eye. OKay that was exaggerating... but it really did feel like that. Hee. I'm celebrating it by inviting close friends over for lunch, and guess who's doing some cooking? Yes, its me! Plus my wondeful mummy of course.. who won't leave me to fret and kan chiong alone.. haha.
Just early this evening, my bro left for Gkidz camp and i was just telling God how 'empty' the house felt... i thought i liked having my own space and all... but the house really did feel a little lonely even though i was busy doing work on the comp.. Just when i was feeling hungry and about to cook some dinner, like an answered prayer, my phone rang. When i picked it up, a familiar cheerful voice greeted me "Hi girl! We are at the airport now. Are you at home? Have you taken your dinner?" My heart did a whoop of joy.. haha.. never knew at 25, how much i could miss my parents who went away for a holiday. silly me had mistaken my parents' arrival date to be tomorrow instead of tonight... Thank God for hearing my small cry of need:) Nothing is too small for Him.
Its been 11 months since the last blog entry and i just want you to know Lord, that since i met you Lord, there's no greater blessing... you pick me up Lord when i needed strength. You were patient with me Lord under my most trying moments. You know me Lord and help me to change for the better, and because of this, i love you God. In 2 days, on the 6 of dec... I will celebrate You, the family you've given me, and friends you bestowed upon me, last but not the least, to celebrate the LIFE in Christ you have given me.

On the last month of 2008, it will be the first year i am celebrating my birthday with the extended spiritual family of God. Compared to 4 years ago when i celebrated my 21st birthday, things were different... but you've been working on me from the inside out. Please keep up the good work Lord! I'm glad to say that each new year in maturity means i've grown in new areas spiritually too. May i hv a holy discontentment for living each day, and enough contentment of heart to know great gains.
