God Stoppers

Jus a quickie update…
3rd week into teaching at Xinghua Primary now… my P2 form class is a quite a handful bunch, but growing to love them unruly bits and all… hee. Truly all thanks to the only true and living one. God has been very faithful to see me through each day, through the small and big things. Even though sometimes we attribute daily happenings to coincidences, or just ‘by the way’ kind of passing events, it takes a moment to stop and realize that God orchestrated it. That’s why stopping to think about the day and how you were blessed, what you could thank God for and then write/ blog it down makes a big difference. It will help make you see that God is indeed at work at all times even though His presence may not be felt at every moment.
I believe He wants to show you that His blessings are real too. His love for you is real. God answers prayers. He gives me the strength to carry on each day even as I pray each morning on my way to school, gives me hope for the future and a goal to strive towards…. If you believe it, then there is hope. And that hope comes from God.
It’s easier to believe that there is a God than prove there is none. He just has to show you through answers you have been seeking. And you will believe.
Learnt new things from kids. That they are more detailed. For example, they could say things like: “I thank God for the chicken, fish, vegetables and fruits….” But grown ups tend to categorize everything under ‘food’. Thus have internalized for myself that seeing things part by part, does help me to appreciate the fuller picture of what God has given to me more.
Going to bed now, will blog again during the weekends, just 2 more days to go! Jia you everyone…
