Thank you Lord
For saving my soul
Thank you Lord
For making me whole
Thank you Lord
For giving to me
Thy great salvation
so rich & free
This is an old hymn, that was long sung long before i was born. But what the essence of the song is, matters more than when in time it was written.
It was certainly not one of those moments whereby people had no better songs to sing but boring old 'holy holy' songs in church. I believe that this song was birthed out of a sincere and genunie thanksgiving out from the writer's depth. He, for one perhaps understood a little bit more about the cross than most believers in God. A forgiving, cleansing, healing & restoring cross. The powerful work done on the cross that was meant to redeem you and I, from all the sins we have committed. Oh how we long for forgiveness in our lives.
The wonderful news is " He remembers no more." God is a great forgetter. He forgets all our sins and chooses to love us, bearing with our whatnots. What grace. Such Grace i've found. What grace awaits you if you choose to seek it. God loves you no matter you acknowledge him ornot. Im just a sinner saved by grace... and to me, thats all i need in my life. Moments of his grace. Thats' all I want Lord.
May the grace of God be with you.
